In the tradition of the notoriously gritty 42nd Street theaters of the 1980s, and their wild and vocal audiences, TURBO HAÜS brings you GRIND HAÜS, our monthly-ish celebration of cult cinema! Programmed and hosted by Justin Henry Langlois (Associate Programmer for the Fantasia Film Festival with an MA in Film from Concordia) and local heartthrob Alex Cartier (Turbo Haüs, Hashed Out)!

This month: it's our spooky scary Halloween party! We'll have a COSTUME CONTEST, a tasty SPOOKY PUNCH, a round of HORROR TRIVIA, and a zombie splatter double feature of DEAD ALIVE (aka BRAINDEAD) [1992] and THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD [1985]!

Town dween Lionel Cosgrove (Timothy Balme) lives under the thumb of his domineering mother Vera (a never-better Elizabeth Moody). But when a Sumatran rat monkey bite turns Vera into one of the slimy undead, devoted son Lionel has to do everything he can to hide the growing zombie threat from the town and his new girlfriend Paquita (Diana Peñalver)!
