Le Noir, résultat de l’absorption de toutes les couleurs primaires par un objet, représente l’harmonie, l’unité et la compassion. LES LIONS NOIRS est le nom d’artiste de Lionel Lionzhe Katshingu, parolier, bassiste et compositeur qui réunit autour de lui une formation de musiciens d’origines variées ayant trouvé leur confort dans l’univers diversifié de la ville de Montréal.
Musicien d’origine congolaise né en Allemagne, Lionel Katshingu déménage à Montréal à l’âge de quatre ans et il y évolue depuis. Il a obtenu une maîtrise en mathématiques fondamentales à l’Université du Québec à Montréal en 2013. Passionné par la musique depuis son plus jeune âge, ses temps libres sont investis dans l’étude anthropologique des diverses approches musicales.

LES LIONS NOIRS is the stage name of Lionel Lionzhe Katshingu, a lyricist, bassist, and composer who has gathered around him a group of musicians from diverse backgrounds who have found their comfort in the diverse universe of the city of Montreal.
A musician of Congolese origin born in Germany, Lionel Katshingu moved to Montreal at the age of four and has been living there ever since. He obtained a master's degree in fundamental mathematics from the University of Quebec in Montreal in 2013. Passionate about music from an early age, he spends his free time studying the anthropology of various musical approaches.
